Hello, I am Mia Wissink, a freshman at MHS, and I am sharing my piece titled “Upon New Horizons.” I took this photo while in the Outer Banks of North Carolina at five in the morning. I was astounded by the peace of watching the sun emerge from the horizon. It was a little challenging to capture this shot because my camera kept fogging up due to the crazy humidity in North Carolina, but it was definitely worth it. This encouraged me to continue to get out of my comfort zone and experience new things because Mother Nature will never disappoint.
