Middleton won 3-0, dominating all three sets. They won the first set 25-14, the second set 25-16, and the third set 25-7. The first team to reach 25 points with a two-point lead wins the set. The match is won by the team who wins three or more sets: the best out of five.

The boys’ team will go on to play on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the sectional finals against Madison Memorial. The game will take place at Middleton, so come out and cheer the team on. The winner of this match will go on to the three-day State competition starting on Nov. 3. (Addie Sloan)
