Madeline Westbrook is a junior at Middleton High School, and this is her second year as a reporter for The Cardinal Chronicle. Ever since she was a toddler, Madeline has had a passion for reading and writing; she’s particularly interested in political journalism right now. In her free time, Madeline enjoys playing piano, going on nature walks, visiting art museums, and cuddling with her dogs. Of course, Madeline’s favorite pastime is getting cozy with a book — preferably when it’s a cold, rainy day and she has a warm cup of peppermint tea on her nightstand.
