Maria Riojas is a freshman at MHS, and this is her first year in on The Cardinal Chronicle. She enjoys writing of all kinds, especially creative writing and journalism. Maria is also a student athlete, playing soccer and running cross country, but has fun playing recreational volleyball. She has enjoyed trying new clubs this year, like Red Cross and Best Buddies. Outside of school, Maria enjoys watching movies with her family and spending quality time with her friends.
