Keira Marckel, Arts & Entertainment/Managing Editor
Keira Marckel, a senior, is the Arts & Entertainment editor of The Cardinal Chronicle. She has a passion for literature and an affinity for all things artistic. She is really looking forward to spotlighting the excellent Fine Arts community at Middleton High School in the Arts & Entertainment section this year! Aside from The Cardinal Chronicle, Keira is also an active participant in MHS Theatre. She spends much of her time backstage in the green room, designing costumes for MHS Theatre productions. Outside of school, she can be found with a good book in one hand and a warm mug of chamomile tea (with honey!) in the other.
![There are 819 total lockers in an alcove near the North Commons, with 164 lockers reserved for Clark Street Community School students and 24 reserved for special education students. The lockers were chosen on a first come, first served basis and assigned randomly, regardless of grade. ![The new Black Box Theater, primarily used by the Middleton High School Theatre, hosted five shows in its first year, 2021-2022, including “One Night Only,” “Romeo and Juliet” and “Sense and Sensibility.” The black box seating can be arranged into multiple configurations, a flexibility that the PAC does not have. Zane Enloe, PAC Director, explained, “The black box offers a different scale to work on. The walkable grid and the modern features make it easier and safer [for students] to do certain things.
