“On Saturday, Feb. 28, [Saturday Night Live (SNL)] was hosted by Connor Storrie, who skyrocketed to fame for his role as Boston hockey player Ilya Rozanov in the queer hockey romance series “Heated Rivalry,” says The Patriot Ledger.
Storrie said that he was so excited to be on SNL in his opening monologue and that he used to be a waiter before he made his acting debut in “Heated Rivalry.” Storrie said that he was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be on SNL. Storrie’s co-star Hudson Williams from “Heated Rivalry” also made an appearance on the show during one of the mini scripted scenes.
On every episode of SNL they always have some sort of musical guest appearance for Storries SNL episode. The band Mumford & Sons were the musical guests to promote their new album titled “Prizefighter.” Other artists, like Hozier and Sierra Ferrell, performed with them.
Overall, Storrie’s experience on SNL was a success and a memorable experience that viewers won’t forget. If you were interested in watching his debut on SNL, you can find the full broadcast on Peacock or select clips from his time on SNL on Youtube.
