Alexander Byrd, 12, “Tales From The Bathroom: Full-circle Farewell”, Digital. Given that Byrd is graduating, and that this quarter would be the last ever publication for the comic to the Chronicle, he decided to make a bonus one as a little tribute to where he started with this series. This comic also served as a thank you for all the readers and Chronicle staff who let him go this far. The premise of this issue was actually based on a true event where he found a prop flower while viewing Middleton’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” It seemed like a clever idea to tie in the theme for this quarter’s publication while he created a satisfying finale. Byrd is truly, very grateful for the chance to create “Tales From The Bathroom” for the past two years. Above all, he hopes that he got some laughs out of you, and maybe inspired you to pursue your own creative dreams. That’s all from Byrd for now. But who knows? Maybe he’ll bring the series back in a full book one day. In the meantime, go out there and live your best life! Just be careful around the bathrooms… you never know what’s gonna happen in them.
